![]() ![]() I also installed my 120GB hard drive from last PC to use as a virtual drive, so I don't even need to put the games on discs. I just want to be able to play without the CD's in my machine. Blu-ray Disc: Can not decrypt AACS protected BDMV and BDAV. Audio CD Video CD DVD: Can not process CSS or region code protected DVD-VIDEO. Can not process encrypted/copy-protected disc, usually game disc. I don't want to sell anything or make money off backing my games up. Alcohol 120: CCD/IMG/DVD () CloneCD () These formats can store more raw information from optical disc. Just so you all know.I am NOT a bootlegger or anything like that. If any one has used these or others like it and can tell me how to use it please reply here and maybe we can get a PM or two going. CloneCD doesn't even have a manual and the pdf file with Alcohol isn't very specific. ![]() It seems really complicated with options and stuff. Anyway I have no idea how to use this stuff. So all these forums had people mentioning Alcohol 120% and CLone CD. ![]() What set it apart is that it was specifically designed for dealing with copy protected software CDs/DVDs. I was looking in several forums on this subject and it seems Games X Copy is hit or miss, with more miss! It seems really buggy and not capable of copying games reliably. Alcohol 120s main thrust has ALWAYS been ripping, mounting, and burning disc images. Can copy any copy right protected DVD with no prob. Has anyone used these programs to back their games up or DVD's? I was thinkin about Games X COpy from 321 Studios because DVD X Copy is an awesome product. ![]()
